The bassinet is good for its price. It is plastic, but very sturdy and safe. I washed all the linens before putting them on. I had difficulty putting the cover on the hood, but eventually it stayed. It gets four stars because the sheet was too small after washing and caused the mattress to slightly curl. We are hoping that the separate bassinet sheets from target will be big enough. Also, the directions are not very clear on how to assemble. The directions may as well said, "just put the thing together". Luckily it wasn't too complicated. They speak of a ribbon that is not part of this bassinet. We think they just used the same directions for a similar bassinet with an added ribbon.
